Pinewood Group has appointed Farrah Charles as general manager of Shepperton Studios.

Charles has more than 20 years’ experience in the film & TV industry, having held senior roles at studios including BBC Studioworks, Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, and Garden Studios.

She started her career at Pinewood and has gone on to roles which have spanned studio operations, client services, and major facility transformations.

Her career has involved supporting productions for a wide range of production houses, broadcasters and streamers including Amazon MGM Studios, Amazon Prime Video, ABC Signature & Hulu, Apple TV, BBC, ITV and Netflix.

Charles said: “Returning to Pinewood Group in many ways feels like coming home. I couldn’t be more excited to be entrusted to oversee the globally renowned and iconic Shepperton Studios. Especially in its 95th year of operation! I’m looking forward to working with the fantastic team and productions onsite, and cannot wait to build upon Shepperton’s already outstanding reputation for delivering world-class facilities, services and customer experience.”
