Broadcast Tech Innovation Awards judges 2026

The 2026 Broadcast Tech Innovation Awards judges have been revealed. 

Senior figures from Netflix, Disney, the BBC, ITV, Banijay, and more will judge entries to the awards, which are now in their eighth year. The showpiece event celebrates the best creative uses of technology in production and post-production, with the winners revealed at a gala dinner held at The Brewery, London, on 26 November, with 500 attendees from across the industry.

New categories for 2026 include Young Talent of the Year (Production), sponsored by Netflix, Best AI Tool and Best Tech for Content Creators, as well as Best Studio Build. There are also the popular regular categories such as Excellence in Grading (with Scripted and Non-Scripted categories), Excellence in Audio Post-Production (Scripted and Non-Scripted), Excellence in VFX, Best Use of Archive, Standout Tech of the Year (Post-Production and Production categories) and more.

Broadcast Tech Awards 2025 (1)

Entries to the awards close on 18 September, after which shortlists for each category will be drawn up. Each judge will be assigned category shortlists to examine, before then coming together with the judges of the same categories to discuss who should be the winner.

The winners will then be revealed at the gala dinner on 26 November, which is sponsored by EIZO, Gravity Media, and Netflix.
