Connect allows users to access content in multiple data stores without migration

LucidLink has launched Connect, a solution that allows users to access and stream content in multiple data stores without migration.
Connect is now generally available after being tested with customers and partners, and allows teams to access data without having to migrate it, duplicate it, or re-architect it. Users can browse footage, stream only the clips they need across desktop, mobile and web, and open files directly in desktop applications.
Users can link data from existing data stores and make it instantly browsable and streamable inside existing workflows, using LucidLink Connect and its APIs. The service includes unified permissions, compliance controls and 24/7 global support.
LucidLink Connect is available now on LucidLink Enterprise plans, and purchasing via AWS Marketplace is coming soon.

Peter Thompson, founder and CEO of LucidLink, said: “Our customers love how their teams work with files instantly, without rethinking how they collaborate. Many of those same teams also have large amounts of data that haven’t been as easy to explore or activate. LucidLink Connect extends the LucidLink experience to that data, so teams can see and work with what they have, where it lives, using the workflows they already trust.”
He added: “LucidLink has been streaming files from the cloud at petabyte scale for 10 years. LucidLink Connect brings that proven capability to existing data, making it instantly usable without forcing customers to change where it lives or how their systems work.”
