Technology solutions distributor Midwich has launched a Live division specialising in the live events industry.
Live will offer specialist distribution and trade rental services to help its client deliver live events.
It is split into two wings – the first is Live Technology, which is the distribution arm. It was formerly known as Sound Technology and provides audio, lighting, video, and control to the live events community, supported by pre- and post-sales teams.
The second wing focuses on trade rentals and includes PSCo (display technologies hire) and Dry Hire Lighting.
Midwich says Live provides customers with access to “everything they need to bring live experiences to life – whether they’re buying, renting, or integrating technology”.
Steve Fay, managing director of Live Technology, said: “Live represents a bold step forward in how we serve the live events community.
