Production company South Shore (The Floor, Accidental Tourist, Freddie Flintoff’s Field of Dreams, DIY SOS) has partnered with collaboration platform Tanooki to manage its media and content workflows across development, production, and post-production.

It has selected Tanooki to manage its archive and ongoing productions, consolidating media storage, dailies, review, collaboration, and transcription into a single system used across its London and Cardiff operations.

The move follows an extended evaluation of the market, with Tanooki’s approach to the automation of ingest and editorial preparation, alongside its integrated transcription tools being key factors in the decision.

Annie Hughes, production executive at South Shore, said the platform would help teams find and work with content more quickly and confidently, while reducing the operational complexity often associated with large back catalogues.

The partnership will see Tanooki rolled out across South Shore’s current slate, as well as its extensive archive, supporting collaboration from early development through to delivery and international sales.

Tanooki won the Standout Tech of the Year category at the Broadcast Tech Innovation Awards 2025. It consolidates the features for viewing, logging, transcribing and streaming dailies and cuts, and enables users to manage their content libraries.
