BBC Radio 2 controller Jim Moir has commissioned indie Ten Alps to produce a 4 x 60-minute history of Sun Records. A Whole Lot of Shakin' looks at the 50th anniversary of the record company and is due to broadcast next June. It will be produced by Des Shaw. The indie has also been asked to produce a 60-minute programme on heavy metal singer Alice Cooper, which is produced by Chris O'Shaunessy, as well as the seventh series of Arthur Smith's comedy show The Smith Lectures. Sam Cash and Andy Foster will produce the 10 x 30-minute series.
