Music channel 4Music is revamping its website to offer visitors access to over 65,000 videos following a deal with music video provider Muzu.tv.

4Music, which is watched by 11m viewers each month, has agreed a revenue share deal with Muzu.tv which will see the video provider sell the advertising around the content.

4Music will also launch its own branded channel on Muzu.tv as part of the deal where it will feature exclusive videos and behind-the-scenes footage.

Gidon Katz, managing director of Box TV and 4Music said it was vital to offer viewers a rich array of content cross-platform. “We hope to deepen our relationship with Box TV’s network of 15m viewers and allow them to access both our content and editorial at 4music.com,” he said.

Ciaran Bollard, chief executive officer of Muzu.tv added the service would help grow 4Music traffic to its site. “This deal with 4Music provides an exciting opportunity to cross pollinate the audiences from TV to 4music.com where MUZU.TV will power an innovative and flexible music video solution,” he said.
