Shooting People, the online community for independent filmmakers' set up by Channel 4 commissioning editor, independent film and video Jess Search and filmmaker Cath Le Couteur, is launching an animation network with Wallace & Gromit creator Nick Park as its patron. The email exchange, initially running on a weekly basis, will be open to festival and competition listings, debates and job opportunities. Film directors Mike Figgis (Leaving Las Vegas) and Danny Boyle are also patrons of Shooting People.
