MIPTV: FremantleMedia Enterprises has signed a multi-year deal in the Middle East that will see the launch of the Idols format in the region.
Middle East Broadcasting Company has acquired the singing format and has also taken the rights to entertainment show Got Talent for an additional two seasons.
It has also completed a three-year volume deal on FME’s library.
Jamie Lynn, FME’s senior vice-president of distribution for Middle East, Southern Europe and Africa, said MC will produce three seasons of a pan-Arab Idols series.
