Andrew Jeffries leaves Scottish station to take up programme director role at Chrysalis-owned Galaxy
Beat 106 programme controller Andrew Jeffries has left the station to become programme director of Galaxy 105, writes Georgina Lipscomb

Jeffries leaves the Scottish-based station after 11 months. He begins the job at Chrysalis-owned Galaxy 105 on 16 July and replaces Jean Branch, who is on maternity leave. He will report to group programme director Jim Hicks.

Mark Findlay, who joined the station six months ago to oversee the station's music policy, replaces Jeffries at Capital Radio-owned Beat 106.

He reports to Beat 106 managing director Hugh Murray.
