ITV1 has unveiled its Christmas line-up headed by an entertainment special based on England's rugby world cup winning team and a documentary about David and Victoria Beckham.
There will be a Rugby World Cup Reviewon Boxing Day and on 20 December, ITV1 will show We Are the Champions: The Nation Celebrates, which will pay tribute to the sporting success with a combination of comedy and music.
On Christmas Eve ITV will broadcast The Real Beckhams, a documentary filmed over the last six months, with cooperation from the couple, following their move to Spain and how they have settled in there.
Ant and Dec will host the Pop Idolclimax on 20 December and on Christmas Day the channel will broadcast World Idol, featuring Will Young and the winners from other countries of the talent show.
On New Year's Eve Martin Kemp takes on his first period drama role in Brides in the Bathand on December 30 Julie Walters stars in The Return. A two-part adaptation of the Mayor of Casterbridgeis tabled for December 28 and 29.
There will also be more Celebrity Who Wants to be a Millionaire?featuring Simon Cowell, Paul O'Grady and Jim Davidson.
