The founding producer of Changing Rooms, Ann Booth-Clibborn, has left to join Flashback Television, writes Claire Handley.

At Flashback Booth-Clibborn becomes the new series producer on 3 x 60-minute show Lost Gardens for Channel 4.

The programmes are fronted by Monty Don and feature a small team of experts whose mission is to discover and recreate the true character of a vanished garden within five days.

Booth-Clibborn will also be developing other new programme formats for Flashback.

The indie produces a wide variety of factual programmes including historical documentaries, drama-docs and sports programmes, along with gardening and leisure shows.

Booth-Clibborn developed Changing Rooms for Bazal, part of GMG Endemol, three years ago and went on to co-produce the first five series.

She signed designers Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and Linda Barker as well as 'handy' Andy Kane. She also steered the show from BBC 2 to its primetime slot on BBC 1.

Bazal's next run of 16 shows will be shot from April. A replacement producer has yet to be appointed.
