CBeebies and Welsh indie Calon are among the finalists for Cartoon Tributes 2010, the annual awards for the European animation sector.

BBC pre-school channel CBeebies has been nominated for best broadcaster while Entertainment One Family, whose properties include Peppa Pig and Tractor Tom has been nominated for Best Investor.

Cardiff-based Calon has been nominated as Best Producer in recognition of their work over 30 years producing shows including Billy the Cat and Hilltop Hospital.
