Season finale of UK show was made available in Canada and New Zealand almost 24 hours before its BBC bow
Distributor All3Media International has apologised and is “urgently reviewing” its processes after the much anticipated finale of Celebrity Traitors UK was made available a day earlier than planned in Australia and Canada.

The series finale was accessible via Canadian streamer Crave and ThreeNow in New Zealand almost 24 hours before it should have gone live.
It was only removed several hours later when the error was spotted.
The BBC, on which the finale aired yesterday evening at 9pm local time, asked viewers who had watched the show “to keep whatever they believe they know to themselves”.
The UK version of Celebrity Traitors has been a ratings hit for the BBC and is produced in the UK by All3Media’s Studio Lambert. The finale delivered the biggest overnight audience of 2025 thus far with 11.1m viewers. It is based on the Dutch reality format De Verraders from All3 sibling IDTV.
A spokeswoman for All3MI said: “We are deeply sorry that the final of The Celebrity Traitors was made available in Canada and New Zealand ahead of its scheduled BBC One premier transmission.
“This occurred due to an internal miscommunication regarding release dates. The episode was taken down immediately once the issue was identified.
“We recognise the importance of protecting the viewing experience for audiences, particularly for a series where secrecy is central to the format. We are urgently reviewing our processes to ensure this does not happen again.”
