Prime Video has already picked up thriller in the UK and across parts of Europe
AMC+ has taken exclusive US streaming rights to the Catherine Zeta-Jones thriller, Kill Jackie.
The show, co-produced by US-based Steel Springs Pictures and Fremantle, is based on the novel The Price You Pay by author Nick Harkaway (writing as Aidan Truhen).

The multinational series - a Broadcast International Hot Pick at London TV Screenings - follows Zeta-Jones’ character Jackie Price, who has been living a wealthy existence for the past 20 years in a bid to stay anonymous after escaping a dangerous past as an international cocaine dealer.
Just as life starts to feel boring, she discovers that The Seven Demons – a squad of terrifying hitmen - have been hired to kill her, leaving Price to revert to her old instincts and take down the assassins before they get to her first.
The deal was struck by Lorenzo De Maio of De Maio Entertainment and Peter Lawson, founder of Steel Springs, which holds US sales rights. Fremantle sells rest of world, with Prime Video already onboard in the UK and a swathe of countries across Europe including Germany.
Dan McDermott, chief content officer of AMC Global Media and president of AMC Studios, described the drama as “a standout addition” to its slate and “a great example of the bold, character-driven storytelling for which we are known.”
Kill Jackie is co-created by Conor Keane (North Sea Connection), Tom Butterworth (Gangs of London), Peter Lawson (John Wick) and Damon Thomas (Killing Eve).
Series EP’s are Lawson and Jose Agustin Valdes for Steel Springs Pictures, Butterworth, Thomas and Zeta-Jones with Rebecca Dundon, Dante Di Loreto and Jeffrey Levine.
Thomas serves as lead director with writer/showrunner Butterworth. Keane co-wrote the TV adaptation and is associate producer. Harkaway (son of John le Carré) is executive consultant.
