Bruno Liporoni joins Canadian outfit while Bryan Gabourie takes on expanded Americas remit

Blue Ant Rights has reshuffled its sales team across its Americas and APAC division, and hired a former BBC Studios exec.
Bruno Liporoni, who spent more than a decade with BBCS, has been appointed vice president of international sales (ANZ and Japan) and will oversee content sales across Australia, New Zealand and Japan, with a primary focus on the ANZ region.
He reports into Jon Penn, managing director for Blue Ant Rights in APAC, who joined the company from BBCs in 2023.
In the Americas, Bryan Gabourie has been promoted to exec vice president of content monetisation and head of Americas, with a mandate to maximise the value of Blue Ant’s content distribution portfolio across platforms, partners, and territories.
Gabourie will also lead digital platform growth and high-volume VOD monetisation, while also taking a key role in portfolio strategy and commercial decision-making.
Nick Solowski has been promoted to vice president of international sales (US & Canada), while Jason Soh, vice president of distribution (Asia) will assume expanded responsibilities, adding oversight of content sales in China and Korea to his existing remit.
“As we head into a new phase of growth for the company, these key executive appointments allow us to maximize our dedicated regional sales support in APAC and North America, critical to scaling our content portfolio and growing our genre offering,” said Mark Bishop, co-president, Blue Ant Studios.
“We’ve built a leadership team with deep market expertise and strong global relationships with a clear goal to further expand Blue Ant Rights and unlock new opportunities for our premium content worldwide.”
