Skydance’s TV boss George Cheeks has named the senior team that will work across his vast remit that covers former Paramount and CBS networks, as well as Warner Bros TV Studios and CBS Studios.

Former Warner Bros Discovery exec Channing Dungey is as expected remaining in post of The Pitt producer WBTV, and has also added more than 50 cable channels to her remit, ranging from HGTV and TNT to BET.

For channels outside of the US, Dungey is reporting to Cheeks for programming and Skydance TV’s co-chair and chief business officer JB Perrette, for operations. Perrette holds the same roles for Skydance’s streaming unit.

David Stapf retains oversight of Little House on the Prairie producer CBS Studios and its UK-based unit, while Matt Thunell is running Paramount TV Studios, which houses shows including Reacher and the Taylor Sheridan universe that spans Lioness to Landman.

Other appointments include Bryon Rubin being named COO at Skydance TV group, with a remit that also includes the CBS Television Stations unit. Jesse Sisgold, formerly president and COO of Skydance Media, is leaving the company.

Amy Reisenbach heads CBS Entertainment and Tom Cibrowski continues to oversee CBS News.

Cheeks is also overseeing Skydance Sports Entertainment, which is led by David Berson, while Mike Benson heads marketing, Laurel Weir oversees research and programming, and Chris Enders is comms chief.

In a note to staff, Cheeks said: “I know many of you have questions about our structure and what comes next. We will continue to share more information when possible.

“We’re still early in this journey and process, but I’m confident in the strength of this team and in the extraordinary talent and capabilities across our business. As I’ve said, the work ahead is significant, and so is the opportunity. Together, we’ll build on our strengths and shape an even stronger future.”

News of Cheeks’ team comes days after Casey Bloys unveiled his top team for Skydance streamers HBO Max and Paramount+, with the latter’s head of originals Jane Wiseman departing.
