Pitch, Please! features talent including The Celebrity Traitors star King Kenny solving business challenges

The Celebrity Traitors star King Kenny and Adeola Patronne are among talents set to appear on Pitch, Please!, the first single IP show produced by Hearst Canvas.

Pitch, Please! is being produced in partnership with digital entertainment studio Objekt and sees two hosts competing to help a small company tackle a business challenge.

They then take to the streets to gather candid, often unexpected opinions from the public, and use the insights to develop two very different pitches offering potential solutions.

Talent to feature in the series includes social media creator duo Will Makoni and Josh Grigson, and comedians Eshaan Akbar and Darren Harriott.

The second episode, launching today, sees former boxer Kenny (real name Kenny Oghenovo Ojuederie) go head-to-head with content creator Patronne.

Hearst Canvas was launched in 2025 and is the creator-led digital content division of Hearst Networks. Its creative director Danny Baggott said the strength of the show lay in “its clear and compelling premise, taking a genuine business challenge to the public and asking two hosts to transform that feedback into competing pitches.”

He continued: “The format combines humour, creativity, and spontaneity, while giving featured talent the freedom to bring their own distinctive perspectives. It’s an idea with considerable potential to evolve and grow.”

Each 15-minute episode is available weekly on a dedicated YouTube channel first, before rolling out across other social video platforms, including Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram and TikTok.

Bart Frank, creative director at Objekt, added: “Our job was to give it the beats and structure to turn it into a fully-fledged format. We’ve always believed in getting out of the studio and putting funny people in funny situations. This show does exactly that. It’s chaos, but with a business plan.”

Pitch, Please! is the first of two original brands being launched by Hearst Canvas this year. The second, Frontier Collective, is a digital-first adventure network built around established explorers and adventure personalities.

Heather Jones, chief creative officer EMEA and general manager UK at Hearst Networks, said: “We built Hearst Canvas because we saw a clear opportunity to create original brands specifically for audiences who increasingly watch content on digital and social platforms.

“It gives us the freedom to explore new genres, work with emerging and established talent, and build distinctive IP. Pitch, Please! and Frontier Collective bring that ambition to life across creator-led entertainment and adventure, with the potential to grow across platforms and reach global audiences.”

Pitch, Please! and Frontier Collective are commissioned and executive produced by Sam Pearson for Hearst Canvas. Further details about Frontier Collective will be unveiled soon.
