Former NBCUniversal exec departs having had oversight of 5 in the UK and Australia’s Network 10, as well as global sales
Paramount’s Kevin MacLellan, who had led global distribution and oversaw networks including 5 in the UK, is departing newly formed Skydance, with JB Perrette taking on an expanded international remit.

MacLellan joined Paramount last year after it was acquired by Skydance after being brought onboard by the now-departed Jeff Shell.
He had responsibility for licensing TV and film content globally for Paramount, CBS and Skydance, reporting into Skydance chief exec David Ellison. MacLellan also led international cablenet operations for brands such as MTV and Comedy Central, as well as overseeing Reemah Sakaan-led 5 and Network 10 in Australia.
Part of his remit will now be taken on by Perrette, who was named co-chair & chief business officer for Skydance TV and its DTC/streaming division earlier this week.

Several insiders had suggested to Broadcast International on Wednesday that Perrette - who is set to pocket north of $140m following Paramount’s WBD acquisition - would take a key role internationally and he is now set to lead all networks and streaming for Skydance outside of the US.
Reporting into him will be former WBD exec David Decker, who is to lead content distribution, Skydance said, while other appointments include Jay Askinasi being named to lead advertising sales and Ray Hopkins running Paramount’s US networks and DTC operations.
Perrette is a former Discovery exec who has played a key role in the expansion of HBO Max around the world over recent years.
Gerhard Zeiler, WBD’s president of international, is set to depart and intends to make a run for leadership of Austria’s ruling Social Democratic Party, while other departures revealed today include WBD network and streaming exec Scott Miller, and ad sales duo Ryan Gould and Bobby Voltaggio.
