Céline Dornier takes the newly created role of content executive, while Joonas Pönniö becomes the company’s first group chief financial officer.

Dornier joins having been vice-president of financing and acquisitions at film investment outfit Logical Pictures and has a remit at IPR.VC to work with slate partners, producers, financiers and distributors to package, optimise and deliver projects.

She will also expand the company’s exec producer ranks and joins alongside Pönniö, who is a former associate at KPMG and recently worked at Finnish outfits Onvest Oy and Front Capital.

IPR.VC aims to bridge the gap between traditional finance and content investment, and has to date raised over $200m from institutional investors, pension funds, family offices, and non-profit sector investors to invest in more than 60 TV series and films.

“Céline and Joonas are exceptional in their respective fields who bring great value to our stakeholders in production and investment,” said managing partner and co-founder, Timo Argillander.

“Their arrival comes at a pivotal time for IPR.VC, underscoring our growth ambitions and supporting our continuing strategy of maximising returns for investors whilst offering them an opportunity to genuinely shape culture through globally relevant stories across film, television and the rapidly evolving new content economy.”
