ITV Studios has struck a raft of deals for thrillers Coldwater and The Guest, while murder mystery format A Party To Die For has been picked up in Spain.

The Guest, from Quay Street Productions and starring Eve Myles (Broadchurch) and Gabrielle Creevy (Black Doves), has been acquired in 50 countries, including Hollywood Suite for Canada, BritBox Australia, TVNZ for New Zealand, DR in Denmark, YLE Finland, SVT in Sweden, NRK in Norway and Cosmote TV Greece.

Rewind Networks and OSN Group have both acquired the series in pan-regional deals spanning six and 25 countries, respectively, across the APAC and Middle East.

Coldwater, meanwhile, is a Sister production and has been sold into 40 countries with sales to Bell Media for Crave in Canada, Canal+ in Poland and TVNZ for New Zealand.

OSN Group has acquired the show in a pan-regional deal spanning 28 countries across the Middle East. The deals come weeks after both shows were acquired by Showtime.

On the format front, murder mystery A Party To Die For will travel to Spain for the first time under the local title Una Fiesta de Muerte.

The show will be produced by ITV Studios Iberia for Atresmedia, marking the third local adaptation after launches in France and the Netherlands.

Other deals have seen Come Dine With Me landing its 50th territory remake, with Come Dine With Me Africa (French speaking) being produced by Mediawan’s 909 Productions.

Quiz format The Chase has secured its first remake in New Zealand (and 22nd in total), with the local adaptation being produced by ITV Studios Australia for TVNZ 1 and TVNZ+, while My Mum Your Dad has been recommissioned for a second season in Brazil by Globoplay.

ITVS has also picked up the rights to Fox’s reality game show Solitary, which sees contestants confined to isolation pods with no sense of day or night or human contact.

Guided only by Val, an ever-present computer entity, they face relentless physical and mental challenges until the last one standing claims the prize. The only rule: don’t quit first.

The format has previously travelled to Germany (ProSieben) and Brazil (SBT).
