Cycling and fitness drive Banijay format slate

Banijay Entertainment has unveiled two new formats at its London TV Screenings event, with adventure reality show The Bicycle Race and competition series Last One Standing launched to buyers.

The Bicycle Race was created by EndemolShine Nederland and Talpa Studios for SBS6, with an eight-episode order commissioned. The series follows six celebrities as they team up with a partner to compete in an adventure across India by bike, completing challenges and securing cash prizes along the way.

Banijay has also launched fellow Dutch format Last One Standing to buyers, following its co-development by RTL Creative Unit and SimpelZodiak for streamer Videoland.

The format is set against a desert-like backdrop and follows a group of celebrities living together 24/7 in a stripped-back camp as they attempt to prove their fitness by completing a raft of challenges.
