Schitt’s Creek heads to HBO Max
HBO Max has picked up all six seasons of hit comedy Schitt’s Creek for its service in the US.
The show, which debuted this past weekend, was produced Not A Real Company Productions and had previously been available in the US on Hulu, which also retains rights.
Schitt’s Creek was created by and stars Dan Levy and Eugene Levy, as well as the late Catherin O’Hara. It is sold globally by ITV Studios and was originally commissioned for CBC in Canada and Pop TV.
Love Island, Game of Chefs reach Croatia
RTL Croatia has ordered local versions of Love Island and Game of Chefs, following a deal with ITV Studios.
The agreement marks Croatia as the 28th territory to commission Love Island, while the upcoming version of Game of Chefs will become the seventh international adaptation.
Tonko Weissmann, exec vice president of RTL Croatia, described the deals as “a significant milestone” in its strategy to strengthen its linear channels and Voyo streamer.
The deals were brokered by Martijn Plaizier, format licensing manager for ITVS’s global partnerships division.
Untamed heads to Hawaii for Netflix
Netflix’s second season of mystery thriller series Untamed will take place at Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park.
The show’s first season was released in July 2025 and debuted at number one on Netflix’s Global Top 10, becoming the third most watched title on the streamer in the second half of 2025 with 92.8 million views.
The 6 x 60-minute series will follow special agent Kyle Turner as he investigates a mysterious death in Hawaii. Warner Bros. Television produces with co-showrunners Mark L. Smith and Elle Smith again attached.
They also exec produce alongside Eric Bana, John Wells and Erin Jontow via John Wells Productions; Todd Black and Tony Shaw for Escape Artists Entertainment; Steve Lee Jones for Bee Holder Productions; and Cliff Roberts for Syndicate Entertainment.
