Banijay’s Endemol Shine Australia to produce local version of Japanese format following five-year hiatus from country
Network 10 is bringing Ninja Warrior back to Australia following a five-year hiatus from the country.

The show will debut next year and is to be produced by Banijay-owned Endemol Shine Australia.
WPP’s Motion Entertainment is working with Network 10 and Endemol Shine Australia to support the show’s commercial development across partnership and brand opportunities.
Robert Iwrin, Georgie Tunny and Beau Ryan will host, with a new course created for contestants.
The format is based on Tokyo Broadcasting System Television’s well-travelled show Sasuke, which is distributed by Banijay Rights.
Australia’s Nine Network had previously aired the show but cancelled it after a six-season run in 2022.
Network 10, meanwhile, cancelled its local version of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! earlier this year, with Seven Network subsequently picking up rights.
