Fremantle to produce local versions of mini gold show at its Portuguese production hub

Prime Video in Germany and TF1 in France have greenlit local versions of Fremantle’s entertainment format, Holey Moley.
The commissions comes in the wake of a UK order from ITV, with all three shows being produced through Fremantle’s Holey Moley production hub in Portugal.
Prime Video’s German version will be known as Holey Moley - Minigolf Extreme and is being produced by UFA Show & Factual, with Olympic champions, mini-golf world champions, reality TV stars and armchair pros taking part.
TF1’s version is to be known as Crazy Mini Golf and has Fremantle France attached, with local creators Mcfly and Carlito hosting. The French show features amateur golfers taking part.
ITV’s version is being co-produced by Talkback Thames and Mitre Studios, with the latter’s Ant and Dec hosting.
Ben Crompton, Fremantle’s global head of entertainment, said the Portuguese production hub enables the group “to bring all the scale, spectacle and production value that makes Holey Moley special to a much wider range of markets, while ensuring every local version has its own distinct personality.”
Holey Moley was created for ABC in the US by Fremantle-owned Eureka Productions, with other commissioners including Network Seven in Australia.
