Germany’s Maxton Hall and three Indian series among streamer’s most-viewed series

German series Maxton Hall: The World Between Us and India’s The Family Man were among the most watched non-English language shows on Prime Video in 2025, the streamer has revealed.
Prime Video unveiled its top international series of last year at a London showcase today, where it also confirmed the first US adaptation of the latest book from Spanish author Mercedes Ron.
30 Sunsets Para Enamorarte (30 Sunsets to Fall in Love) comes from Ron’s Bali series and follows December’s release of Spanish-language Tell Me More, which makes number six on the list.
The development deal is part of Prime Video’s collaboration with Ron that includes 10 book-to-screen adaptations.

The project was revealed at an international showcase of upcoming series in London by Nicole Clemens, who took up her vice president of international originals role at Amazon MGM Studios last year.
Clemens appeared alongside vice president of Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios International Kelly Day at the event, with the duo revealing that shows from five countries featured in its top 10 most-watched non-English language originals last year.
Maxton Hall: The World Between Us S2 was the most-watched series, followed by Indian duo The Family Man S3 and Panchayat S4, although the streamer did not provide a measurement of hours or views for the programmes.
Brazil’s Tremembé, Mexico’s Mentiras, and another Indian series, Paatal Lok S2, also made the top 10 (see below for the full listing).
Spanish-language movies in Ron’s Culpables franchise (Culpa Mia, Culpa Tuya, Culpa Nuestra) have been watched by over 100 million viewers worldwide, Day added, and were number one in more than 170 countries at launch, with over 90% of viewers coming from outside Spain.
Day said: “Technology innovations we’ve made personalising our service around country of origin and language preference have made it so that audiences everywhere can enjoy movies and television from other places around the world.
“Streaming has uniquely enabled this, scaling up through social conversation, personalisation, technical advancements, and AI, which allows us to deliver more personalized recommendations and a far greater volume of subtitles and dubs in over 30 languages.”
Clemens added: “There is so much opportunity to bring local stories, characters, and outstanding talent to global audiences, and we’re all already seeing huge success for both Prime Video, and the amazing talent.”
The showcase previewed upcoming series including Chile’s The House of the Spirits, India’s Don’t Be Shy, French-Italian Masterplan starring Stanley Tucci, and Korea’s Siren’s Kiss.
