This Is Your Fridge to return to Denmark via Glow Media
Warner Bros. Discovery owned Kanal 5 is to reboot 30-year-old unscripted format This Is Your Fridge in Denmark.
The show, to be known locally as Vis Mig Dit Køleskab, will debut in spring next year and be hosted by celebrity chef Timm Vladimir.
He will visit Danish celebrities in their homes, before chefs are tasked with taking on the challenge of cooking a three-course dinner using only the ingredients already in the fridge.
The show is being produced by Copenhagen-based Laud People, in partnership with supermarket chain Netto.
The format, distributed by UK-based Glow Media, was first adapted in Denmark in the 1990s and then again on TV3 in 2012.
In addition to the Danish series, Kanal 5 and HBO Max in Sweden have recommissioned a fifth season of the format, to launch in 2027.
Glow Media’s Siobhan Crawford said: “This reboot is a labour of love each time. Slots are created for good formats, and this is proof. A simple lifestyle format that is bingeable, cost efficient with a great on-demand following and natural brand friendly.”
