He will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Radar’s digital channel network, overseeing monetisation strategies and delivery of content across the 25+ digital channels currently managed by the business.

Cameron, who reports into Radar’s general manager, Louisa Emery, has held production roles at companies including Fremantle, Banijay, The Football Association and Atomized Studios, working on shows such as Britain’s Got Talent and The X Factor.

Emery said: “[Cameron] has worked for some of the biggest players and highest-profile content brands in our industry and brings valuable specialist knowledge and expertise to the team. Having a senior member of the team based in Europe will also prove a real asset.”

Derek Dyson, chief commercial officer at WTFN, added that Cameron’s appointment would “play a timely and pivotal role” as the company looks to expand its global footprint.

WTFN-owned Fred Media recently appointed former Amazon MGM exec Jamie I as its APAC sales manager and Dyson said the additions would “turbo-charge our ‘total distribution’ strategy and help take our business to the next level.”
