Sections dedicated to top broadcasters, producers and genres

Broadcast has relaunched its website with prominent sections dedicated to the biggest broadcasters, producers and genres.

The BBC, ITV and Channel 4 are among the broadcasters to receive separate homepages, alongside the likes of All3Media, ITV Studios and Endemol Shine Group. Meanwhile, comedy, drama and factual hubs provide the latest sector-specific news.

The site has been developed with a responsive web design, guaranteeing subscribers who visit on desktop, mobile or tablet a quality browsing experience.

The relaunch is in response to growing numbers of visitors accessing Broadcastnow while they are on the move.

Broadcast editor Chris Curtis said: “Broadcastnow.co.uk is a vital resource to our subscribers, with more than two thirds visiting the site every working day, on average. Given that, we want to ensure they receive a high-class experience, irrespective of the device they use to read our content.”

Broadcast’s daily news updates will continue, along with breaking news alerts and ratings and international-focused newsletters.

Greenlight, a comprehensive database of the latest commissions from the UK’s major broadcasters continues to run in parallel with the new site.

The Broadcast app is currently being updated and will refresh from September with subscribers required to download an update.

The additional overnight ratings data featured in the app will continue to be available.
