The peak audience figure of 18 million was the broadcaster’s biggest peak audience since the Euro 2024 Final
ITV has announced that a peak audience of 18 million watched England’s FIFA World Cup 2026 Quarter-Final victory over Norway on ITV.
It’s the broadcaster’s biggest peak audience since the Euro 2024 Final.
The peak audience is the highest on any channel or streamer this year, surpassing the previous record of 16.4 million viewers, for England’s opening group match against Croatia.
ITV added that its sport coverage across the day, which included Nations Championship Rugby and ITV Racing: Live from Newmarket, reached a total of 25 million TV viewers.
