BBC Sport is expanding its digital fight-night offering with a live watchalong for Moses Itauma’s heavyweight world title challenge against Filip Hrgović
BBC Sport is presenting its first live boxing watchalong for the Moses Itauma v Filip Hrgović fight, which takes place on Saturday (29 August) at The O2 Arena, London.
Nick Peet, Team GB Olympian unbeaten cruiserweight Pat Brown, and BoxingwithSteph’s Steph Kamale will be live on BBC Sport’s YouTube channel throughout the night, sharing their reactions to every big moment of the fight.
The watchalong will also be streamed on the BBC Sport websiter and BBC iPlayer. It will act as a companion to the live fight, with the trio providing their own live reaction, discussion, analysis and debate throughout the evening.
Fans will be able to get involved throughout the stream with their own views, opinions and questions across BBC Sport’s digital and social platforms.
Insight: At 21, Itauma is one of the most exciting young heavyweights in boxing and takes an unbeaten 14-0 record, including 12 knockouts, into the biggest fight of his career. Hrgović, meanwhile, brings a wealth of experience, with 20 professional wins and an Olympic bronze medal from Rio 2016. Victory would make Itauma the second-youngest heavyweight world champion in history, behind only Mike Tyson.
