Euro 2022 winner Jill Scott and Champions League-winning Arsenal manager Renée Slegers join team

BBC Sport women's Euros

BBC Sport has revealed its broadcast plans for the 2025 Women’s Euros. 

The broadcaster shares the rights to the tournament with ITV, and its coverage will get underway on 2 July with Switzerland v Norway. 

Gabby Logan, Alex Scott and Jeanette Kwakye will present across the tournament, with Jo Currie inside the England camp plus Catrin Heledd and Alexandra Richards in the Wales camp. Heledd will also present Wales’ opening game against the Netherlands on 5 July. 

Euro 2022 champions Jill Scott, Ellen White and Ellie Roebuck are among the punditry team, alongside fellow former England internationals Steph Houghton, Anita Asante and Fara Williams. They are joined by former Wales international Katie Sherwood, Arsenal Women’s manager Renee Slegers, and German international Josie Henning, as well as Nedum Onuoha and Scotland captain Rachel Corsie. 

Jill Scott will also be bringing the latest news to Morning Live from 30 June.

The BBC is exclusively showing three of the four quarter finals, as well as one of the semi-final fixtures and the final on Sunday 27 July, live on BBC1 and iPlayer.

Robyn Cowen, Jonathan Pearce and Vicki Sparks will lead commentary, with co-commentators Rachel Brown-Finnis, Gilly Flaherty, Izzy Christiansen and Helen Ward. 

Football Daily will be releasing podcasts every day of the tournament with interviews from players and managers from inside both England and Wales camps. Presenters Katie Smith, Ben Haines and Mark Chapman will be joined by Ellen White, Jen Beattie, Karen Bardsley and more names from out in Switzerland. There will also be special fan diary episodes with comedian and football fan Maisie Adam, plus match previews up until the final.

In addition, daily podcast Feast of Football will be available on BBC Sounds as well as a vodcast on BBC One Wales, ahead of each of Wales’ games. Carl Roberts, along with guests and players from the Wales team, will bring the news from Switzerland. 

Highlights of every game are available on the BBC Sport website, app and BBC iPlayer following full time, with the same content on social media alongside punditry and analysis, behind-the-scenes content and content from roving digital reporters in Switzerland.  

This comes as the BBC continues its Names Will Be Made campaign to spotlight female athletes, and there will be documentaries on Mary Earps and the Wales women’s football team, series two of the Tooney & Russo Show with Vick Hope podcast, and a kids-focused live-action comedy series.

This BBC Sport documentary offers a never-before-seen take on Mary’s impactful career, which has seen her transcend her sport and leave a lasting legacy. The Euro 2022 winner offers a fascinating insight into her rollercoaster journey to the pinnacle of her sport and includes insights from the goalkeeper’s family and former England team-mates Ella Toone, Alessia Russo, Jill Scott, Lucy Bronze and Ellen White.

Mary Earps: Queen of Stops is available to watch on BBC iPlayer now and is on BBC One on 2 July.

The Tooney & Russo Show with Vick Hope, Series 2– BBC Sounds & YouTube
The podcast has returned for a hotly anticipated second series. There will be 10 new episodes available on BBC Sounds in the build-up to the Women’s Euro where the England teammates and best friends talk about their lives on and off the pitch. Episodes drop every Monday and Friday from Friday 30 May.

Football Fantastics – CBBC & BBC iPlayer
Football Fantastics, a high-energy, feel-good live-action comedy series, comes to CBeebies and BBC iPlayer on Saturday 5 July.

Set against the heartwarming backdrop of Yorkshire, the show follows six wildly lovable kids who come together every weekend for their local football group.

Adding a touch of real-world sparkle Jill Scott brings her trademark wit and warmth to the screen, alongside guest spots from a number of the Lionesses stars including star striker Alessia Russo and BBC Sports Personality of the Year winner Beth Mead, plus a surprise cameo from England and Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins and former Millwall and Leyton Orient player, Charlotte Lynch in her acting debut.
