BBC to stream Athlos London

The BBC will broadcast Athlos London, the athletics meet’s first event outside the US, across its digital platforms. 

All-female athletics competition Athlos was founded by Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian through his venture capital firm Seven Seven Six in 2024, and has expanded for 2026 with a new league format as well as record athlete compensation and an industry-first athlete equity model for eligible competitors.

The London event is at StoneX Stadium, the home of the Saracens rugby union side, from 7pm on Friday 18 September with the host broadcast handled by Aurora. Keely Hodgkinson will be among the athletes taking part, defending her Athlos 800m title. Other athletes involved include Sha’Carri Richardson, Gabby Thomas, Georgia Hunter Bell, Amber Anning and Tara Davis-Woodhall. 

Globally, Athlos is also shown by ESPN and ION in the US, as well as being available on X and YouTube.
