Broadcaster will show eveyr minute from tournament that takes place 29 November-7 December

BBC Sport will broadcast every minute of the UK Snooker Championship from 29 November until 7 December. 

The broadcaster renewed its deal for snooker’s “Triple Crown”, which includes the UK Championship as well as the World Championship and Masters, earlier this year, signing on for another five years

The first tournament under this new deal will see Hazel Irvine, Seema Jaswal and Catrin Heledd lead the presentation, with reporting from Shabnam Younus-Jewell. Steve Davis, Stephen Hendry, John Parrott, Dennis Taylor, and Ken Doherty will provide punditry. 

Alex Kay-Jelski, director of BBC Sport, said: “The UK Championship is the final Triple Crown event of the season, and BBC Sport will bring audiences every frame across TV, radio and digital platforms. With a world-class line-up of presenters and pundits, we’re bringing the stories and drama to life: Can Judd Trump defend his title? Will Ronnie O’Sullivan break his own record and claim a ninth win? Fans will have to tune in and follow the action with us.” 

In addition to the live coverage on linear, there will be video clips of key moments available on the BBC Sport website, app and social media channels.
