BeIN Sports and DAZN have renewed their deals with the EFL.

BeIN will air the Championship, League One, League Two, and Carabao Cup in 38 countries in the Middle East and North Africa region, Asia Pacific region, Turkey and France, while DAZN has the same rights in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH), Japan, Canada, and Spain - as well as Italy where it will share five Carabao Cup fixtures with other broadcasters.

Both broadcasters have two-year deals negotiated by Pitch International, and will air 180 matches over the course of a season.

Within the UK, the EFL continues to be broadcast by Sky Sports and the EFL’s own D2C iFollow platform, which allows fans to stream matches that aren’t aired on TV or at 3pm by paying a one-time fee or subscription to the team they support. Highlights are available free-to-air through ITV.

While iFollow has brought in extra revenues for clubs, there is some unhappiness with how it potentially favours larger clubs with bigger fanbases.
