Magazine series will be available on BFBS Forces News YouTube and its own platforms

BFBS Forces News has launched Inside Military Sport, a series looking at the world of sport in the British armed forces.
Available on the BFBS Forces News YouTube as well as BFBS TV and BFBS MiPlayer, Inside Military Sport aims to delve into military sporting communities – from forces rugby to growing grassroots sports such as strongman or darts – and captures the characters, competitions, and memorable moments.
The deputy director of news at BFBS, Suzanne Chislett, said: “BFBS has been at the forefront of championing military sport for decades, for the overseas audience on BFBS TV and across forcesnews.com, and our socials for those serving at home. We know how important military sport is for our armed forces community from the bonds team games can bring, to the competitive edge and digital skills of esports.
“Our new Inside Military Sport rail ensures that wherever you are serving you can find out what’s going on in a new tell-all style – our BFBS sports team are getting to the root of old rivalries, meeting key personalities and finding out about the latest sports making their mark.”
Inside Military Sport is produces alongside a growing number of live broadcasts from BFBS. It has now broadcast live sport 60 times, reaching over 1.5 million views across eight different sports including the iconic Army v Navy rugby union event and the oldest international football in Europe, the Kentish Cup.
