Channel 4 to provide full presentation for Women’s AFCON final

Channel 4 will deliver a full presentation for the final of the Women’s AFCON on Sunday.

With coverage starting on E4 at 7:30pm ahead of an 8pm kick off, Julia Stuart will present the broadcaster’s coverage alongside pundits Anita Asante and Fern Whelan. Ayo Akinwolere will report from pitchside at the stadium in Rabat, Morocco, with Ellen Ellard and Courtney Sweetman-Kirk  on commentary. 

Cameroon face Malawi in the showpiece fixture, with neither team having won the competition before and Malawi never having even been in the tournament before. 

IMG is producing Channel 4’s coverage, and the agency also facilitating the rights deal between the broadcaster and the Confédération Africaine de Football. 

Channel 4 has also shown all knockout fixtures from the 2026 tournament, the first time a UK broadcaster has done so.
