Broadcaster will air every fixture outside of the 3pm blackout

DAZN Serie A

DAZN has acquired the rights to Serie A, and will broadcast every game that takes place outside of the Saturday 3pm blackout.

Up to eight fixtures a matchweek will be exclusive to DAZN, with another two non-exclusive. In addition to UK and Ireland rights, the broadcaster has also five exclusive and five non-exclusive fixtures per round in the US and Caribbean, in Spanish language. DAZN is already the domestic broadcaster of Serie A in Italy

DAZN will also show highlights of all games in all territories worldwide, except for Italy, Republic of San Marino, Vatican City, and the MENA region. These will be available at least one hour after the final whistle, with two or three-minute packages per match, depending on the territory.

Last season, Serie A had two games-a-week on TNT Sports, with the other eight, outside the 3pm blackout, shown through a video platform launched in partnership with OneFootball

Pete Oliver, CEO of Growth Markets at DAZN, said: “Lega Serie A is one of the most storied and technically brilliant leagues in world football. Our partnership with the league has continued to grow stronger, particularly since DAZN became the main domestic broadcaster of the Serie A Championship starting with the 2021/22 season.

“This agreement reinforces DAZN’s position as the global home of football – expanding our footprint in Europe and the Americas and giving fans unrivalled access to Italian football as this summer’s FIFA Club World Cup unfolds. From Napoli to Milan, Roma to Juventus – fans want it all, and DAZN is delivering it.”
