Sublicencing deal with ESPN covers majority of Europe and MENA
DAZN has agreed a sublicencing deal with ESPN to air US college American football and basketball in the UK and Ireland.
The agreement also covers the majority of Europe and MENA.
It will show up to 25 college football games per week during the regular season, including matches from the SEC, ACC, and Big 12. DAZN will also broadcast the College Football Playoff and CFP National Championship, as well as the College GameDay pregame show.
For basketball, DAZN will air approximately 20 games per week across men’s and women’s basketball, as well as 63 March Madness games across both the Men’s and Women’s tournaments, including the entirety of the Elite Eight, Final Four, and National Championships.
