Event will take place 25-27 July, with Aurora as host broadcaster
DAZN will broadcast the Soccer7sSeries globally on its free tier.
Taking place from 25–27 July at Jalan Besar Stadium, the Soccer7sSeries event is a competition of seven-a-side, seven-minute half matches on a full size pitch. It will feature 95 matches across men’s, women’s and masters competitions, with teams from clubs including Borussia Dortmund, Corinthians, QPR, Hashtag United, Vasco da Gama, Shanghai Shenhua and Persib Bandung.
DAZN will have live coverage of all matches, plus a one-hour highlights show. It was announced last week that Aurora is the host broadcaster for the competition, delivering full multi-camera match coverage, English and local language commentary, pitch-side presentation, highlights, social content, and a global world feed. Each match will have an eight-camera setup including super slomo and multiple RF cameras.
In addition to the programming, DAZN will also provide promotional support to, “drive audience awareness and viewing intent,” with co-branded marketing planned across priority territories.
DAZN’s deal is non-exclusive, with the tournament set to also be available through YouTube and a network of creator-led co-streamers as part of a multi-platform distribution strategy.
Dom Lane, CEO of Soccer7sSeries, said: “Soccer7sSeries is all about delivering dynamic, high-intensity football to a new generation of fans. This partnership with DAZN gives us a global stage from the very first tournament and aligns perfectly with our digital-first vision. We’re excited to work with a broadcaster that shares our ambition to innovate and scale.”
