The agreement covers men’s and women’s competitions across the Artistic Gymnastics European Championships and Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships
The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) has extended its worldwide media rights agreement with European Gymnastics for another four years (from 2025 to 2028), ensuring gymnastics coverage stays free-to-air.
Gymnastics audiences in Europe and beyond will continue to be able to watch major competitions for free.
Spanning 21 territories, on behalf of 21 EBU Members, the agreement covers men’s and women’s competitions across the Artistic Gymnastics European Championships and Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships for 2025, 2026, 2027 and 2028.
Rights holders under the agreement are as follows: AMPTV (Armenia), VRT (Belgium), BNT (Bulgaria), HRT (Croatia), CYBC (Cyprus), CT (Czechia), YLE (Finland), ARD & ZDF (Germany), ERT (Greece), MTVA (Hungary), RUV (Iceland), RTE (Ireland), The Sport Channel (Israel), RAI (Italy), NOS (The Netherlands), RTP (Portugal), STVR (Slovakia), SRG SSR (Switzerland), TRT (Turkey), BBC (UK) and Suspilne (Ukraine).
Eurovision Sport, the EBU’s free-to-air streaming platform, will provide additional coverage of the events, complementing EBU Member broadcasts and offering greater distribution and access to gymnastics fans.
