The pair will broadcast fellow UEFA tournament, the Futsal Champions League, in Portugal.
Eleven Portugal and Canal 11 are partnering to broadcast the UEFA Women’s Champions League and UEFA Futsal Champions League for the rest of the 2020/21 season.
The broadcasters will deliver simultaneous live coverage of the competitions, which are both set for their quarter-finals next up.
The Women’s Champions League quarter-finals will see the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Wolfsburg, Rosengård-St. Pölten and Olympique Lyonnais go head to head. Particular interest in Portugal may be shown for Portuguese international Jessica Silva’s performances for Lyon.
Meanwhile, Portuguese sides SL Benfica and Sporting CP are both present in the last eight of the Futsal Champions League.
Eleven Portugal also broadcast the final stages of the Women’s Champions League last season, in August 2020. It already holds the rights for the men’s UEFA Champions League in Portugal until 2023/24.
