Warsaw event had enlisted creators to boost its reach

The 2026 FIBA 3x3 World Cup drew over 150 million views on the federation’s social media channels.
The annual event was held in Warsaw, Poland, this year, and took place 1-7 June. In addition to the social media reach, there were 55 hours of television coverage produced for broadcasters in 30 territories.
FIBA partnered with a number of creators to amplify the event’s reach, aiming to reach new audiences. Andrew Wave, Atiga, Ruben Reynes, Lukas Simoner, Rookicks and SBB were among the international creators onsite, with leading Polish influencers and personalities, such as Piotr Artur Hancke, known professionally as Łatwogan, also enlisted.
In addition to digital reach, the event saw over 100,000 visitors to the 3x3 village in Warsaw, including sellouts for all evening sessions driving 27,500 attendees during the week.

The passion shown all week reflects everything that makes this discipline special and adds another memorable chapter to the 3x3 basketball continued growth.”
