ITV continues as free-to-air home for upcoming season
Disney+ has agreed a multi-year global rights deal for Formula E.
The electric racing series had previously been shown by TNT Sports in the UK, but it will now be on Disney+ - as it will also be in most international territories. In the US, it will also be shown on ESPN+.
Disney+ will host comprehensive coverage of every event, including preview and review shows, practice, qualifying and race sessions, along with race highlights. The 2026/27 season gets underway with a double header in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on 18 December.
ITV continues to show races free-to-air on ITVX and ITV4, having extended its Formula E deal for another two seasons last year.

Disney+ has expanded its live sport portfolio in the UK in recent years, adding a selection of LaLiga games as well as the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
