Sunset+Vine and NEP are working with organisation on the showpiece event
ICC TV is working with production services partner Sunset+Vine and equipment services partner NEP on its broadcast of the World Test Championship Final.
48 cameras are being used to cover the match between Australia and South Africa at Lords Cricket Ground, which began today, 11 June. These include high-speed fixed cameras, supplied by BBG Sports, a Spidercam, a drone Batcam, and a roving bugy cam.
Hawk Eye and Ross Video’s Piero graphics are also in use, with AE Live delivering on-air graphics. In addition, Quidich Innovation Labs’ Field Plot and Field 360° virtual field model, which shows fielding positions and strategies in real time, is illustrating the action.
For the English language world feed, presenting and commentary will come from Matthew Hayden, Graeme Smith, Stuart Broad, Shaun Pollock and Kevin Pietersen, alongside leading broadcasters Nasser Hussain, Ravi Shastri, Mel Jones, Ian Smith, Ian Bishop and Dinesh Karthik. Over the whole day, there is the live match day programme, with a 30-minute pre-match build-up, lunch and tea interval shows, and a post-match wrap-up.
In addition to the live content, ICC TV is also producing daily player profiles, team features, match day previews and behind-the-scenes content.
Jiostar is producing a Hindi language feed from Mumbai, which is being broadcast on Star Sports Network and JioHotstar.
