The company now operates across the USA, Canada, APAC, Europe, the Middle East, and India. Its AI-powered technology provides real-time voice translation that aims to preserve the speaker’s original tone and intonation while simultaneously translating into multiple languages and accents.
To date, it has focused on live sport broadcasts as the target market for this technology before moving into other areas such as entertainment.
“APAC represents a major opportunity and priority for us, with the breadth and depth of its content industry, from sports to entertainment,” said Akshat Prakash, co-founder & CTO of Camb.ai. “We’re thrilled to welcome Takashi Nakamura to lead our efforts in the region.
