A pair of US rights deals and Sky Sport Deutschland adds Austria to its agreement with WSC Sports

Golf Channel renews DP World Tour deal
The Golf Channel will continue as the US home of the DP World Tour until at least the end of 2030, after extending its rights deal. The broadcaster will air every DP World Tour event, meaning it will show over 600 hours from the golf competition each year.
Guy Kinnings, CEO of the DP World Tour, said: “With this long-term renewal, fans of the DP World Tour in the US will continue to have coverage of every tournament and never miss a shot as we travel around the world. Golf Channel has been a long-term partner for three decades and this agreement underlines their continued commitment to showcasing golf’s global Tour. We had a truly memorable 2025 that will go down in history as one of our greatest season’s ever – reflected in stellar viewing figures in the United States. We therefore start our fourth decade of partnership with excellent momentum.”

SailGP sticks with CBS
SailGP and CBS have extended their broadcast partnership for another two years.
US viewers will be able to watch the 2026 and 2027 seasons through the broadcaster, in what is the competition’s first multi-year deal in the territory.
SailGP was co-created by Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison, and his son David Ellison is chairman and CEO of CBS owner Paramount.

Sky Sport Deutschland automates highlights with WSC Sports
Sky Sport Deutschland has extended its partnership with highlights automation company WSC Sports for another two years.
The extension also sees the deal expand to include Austria, when previously it had only been used in Germany. It will be used across social media, websites, mobile apps, OTT services, and partner portals.
Sky Sport will use WSC Sports’ Essentials platform, live and post-match graphics, and tailored integrations. The collaboration also includes early-stage testing of new generative AI-powered content experiences.
