Broadcaster has agreement with Sky Sports to show 20 matches-a-season

ITV will show Nottingham Forest and Leeds United’s Carabao Cup clash on 25 August.
The Premier League pair face each other in the second round of the Carabao Cup, and coverage will begin at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
ITV will also broadcast Middlesbrough v West Brom on Saturday 29th August and Millwall v West Ham United on Saturday 19th September, both matches taking place in the Championship.
The broadcaster agreed a partnership with Sky Sports last year, which sees it show 20 fixtures-a-season from the two competitions free-to-air. The sub-licensing deal runs until the end of the current season.
ITV shows one tie from each of the first four rounds of the Carabao Cup, one additional tie from the third or fourth round, two quarter-finals, one semi final, and the final, as well as 10 Championship games that are simulcast with Sky Sports.
