Two major esports tournaments – Valorant Champions and League of Legends World Championship 2025 – are being live broadcast in cinemas across multiple European countries this autumn.
European-based distribution company Piece of Magic Entertainment has partnered with Riot Games to bring two of the most widely viewed and followed esport tournaments in the world to cinemas.
On 5 October, the Valorant Champions 2025 Grand Final takes place in Paris, and will be broadcast live in cinemas with select screenings across nine territories.
Then on 9 November, the spotlight turns to Chengdu, China, for the League of Legends World Championship finals.
Piece of Magic Entertainment is bringing these to cinemas across 30+ countries in Europe.
Riot Games and Piece of Magic Entertainment will also host events in key territories with live celebrations featuring limited-edition giveaways, cosplay moments, interactive games and interactive photo opportunities, designed to further immerse fans in the tournaments.
Caspar Nadaud, CEO & founder of Piece of Magic Entertainment, said: “Our longstanding partnership with Riot Games has been instrumental in building esports as a growing category in cinemas. By broadcasting the Finals live onto the big screen, we’re giving fans a unique way to experience these defining moments together, in real time, inside the cinema.”
