Broadcaster becomes fourth rights holder after BBC, ITV and S4C

Premier Sports Six Nations

Premier Sports will broadcast five fixtures from the upcoming men’s Six Nations.

The broadcaster will air a selection of Wales and Scotland fixtures from the tournament. It is possible these will be co-broadcast with the BBC, given its rights deal is also for five Scotland and Wales fixtures. ITV will show the remainder of the matches, with S4C also screening Wales games.

The BBC and ITV extended their rights deal for the competition last year, adding another four years to keep it free-to-air.

Tom Shanklin, Andy Goode, Jim Hamilton, Ryan Wilson, Benjamin Kayser, and more will provide punditry for Premier Sports’ coverage.

The Championship showcases the world’s best players and remains one of the most culturally significant competitions in international sport and we’re delighted to bring these outstanding fixtures to our customers and growing rugby network.
